BCU campus Hamra center hosted the event, where thirty six Arab and foreign international companies of different specialties
participated in the event , in addition to the top ten hotels in Lebanon.

The Development and social services center at BCU University
started its activities in launching a series of lectures and
seminars about education and academic guidance.

The faculty of Events, Tourism and
Hospitality at BCU University presented the best achievements and means
of Tourism and Hospitality at the International Horeca Exhibition held at
the Commercial center, Biel, Beirut. Many BCU students presented advanced ideas
and new productive means in running tourist hotels. This opportunity paved the way
in front of many students and well known companies to exchange knowledge and experience

beautify Beirut city, especially its old neighborhoods
and streets, the Graphic Design students at BCU launched
a painting campaign under the theme of Lebanese
Countryside beautiful nature. This project was under the
auspices of the head of the Graphic Design Department

Iftar dinner for 200 orphans from “Dar Al- Aytam Al-
Islameyah” in Hamra campus for two successive days on
the 9th and 10th of Octobor. The Iftar was under the
auspices of BCU President Dr. Mustafa Hamzeh, the Dean
of Students Dr. Ziad Becdach, and under the supervision
of Dr. Bachir Mezher.

the commencement of 202 students from all majors on
Jadra campus. The graduation was attended by BCU
chancellor Dr. Adnan Hamzeh, dignitaries, officials,

BCU Launches a Cultural Campaign in South Lebanon
The
Graphic Design Department at BCU launched a cultural
campaign in collaboration with South Lebanon
municipalities to document and archive ruined sites,
natural landscapes, and ancient markets.The starting
point was from Tyre where 40 graphic designers and
photographers visited the municipality and met its
principal Mr. Abdel Mohsen Al hussainy and the cultural
consultant Mr. George Ghanime who welcomed the idea of
drawing a painting on the city’s main square. more

Computer and Communication Engineering Exhibition at BCU
campus in Jadra on the 4th and 5th of May 2006. The goal
of this exhibition is to demonstrate the inventions and
creativity of CCE senior students in the fields of
communication, electronics and information, and to
attract the attention of local and international
industrial companies to adopt and manufacture their

The Hospitality & Tourism Department at BCU held its
first annual “Job Fair” exhibition at Hamra campus on
the 3rd of April 2006. A total number of sixteen
International and Regional companies specialized in
recruitment and Chain Hotels were among the exhibitors.

Best Piece of Art
Graphic Design Students were awarded the “Best Piece of
Art” trophy from tourism league at the Industry and
Trade Room in Tripoly in north Lebanon. The event was
attended by Dr. Hind Sofi, the chairperson of the league
and by the members of the committee and many artists.
The first place award was for BCU student Bachir Ismail;
Dr. Charif Chehab Head of GD at BCU and Mr. Hassan Salem
were also awarded honor certificates for their efforts.

July 2005 has been a celebratory month for BCU, where both Beirut and Jadra campuses held their graduation ceremonies. The first ceremony took place on July 12, 2005 at Jadra where 212 graduates gathered from all BCU campuses with the exception of Beirut Campus. Artistic Painting at the UN House
Within its campaign for the embellishment of Beirut, the students of Graphic Design Department at BCU volunteered to add a touch of Art by painting the sand protection wall of the UN House in Beirut. This project was supervised by the artist Hassan Salem and Dr. Charif Chehab, Head of Graphic Design Department. 37 students volunteered for this project working for a total of 27 hours.
